Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil and Telugu films in addition to some Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work in the film as actress Savitri. Also, she has received three SIIMA Awards as well as an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy has the father of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child actor during the 2000s, and later was back in films following her studies of fashion design. Her first leading role was in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The movie didn't do well in the theater. Although the movie did poorly at the box-office Her debut film is A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005), which she starred in with Vikramprabhu. The actress had to pull out of several films she was involved in during 2015, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye, and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for larger projects. Then, she worked in Rajini Murugan's Remo in two quick film. Also, Dhanush and she played the lead roles in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. It was delayed since 2015 and reports suggest it would be released in September in 2020 under the name Janakitho Nenu. The film's debut is Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 featuring the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut with Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) with actor Vijay. In 2017, she also appeared in Tamil films, including Paambhu sattai. She also appeared in Telugu films Nenu Local.
