Ann Turkel
The model and actress currently lives with Samantha and their dog (above) as well as Olivia. They were married for only eight years, and divorced for twenty years. Ann Turkel is still struggling to accept the loss of her ex-husband, Richard Harris. She was born in a Jewish middle-class family and raised within Manhattan, Turkel had, when she was 16, studied with both Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse and Philip Burton at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Ann Turkel, who is known around the globe for her accomplishments in the fields of television, film and business, has had a very interesting and diverse career. Ann Turkel was born and raised in Manhattan. Her entire life she has performed well in entertaining. At the age of 5 she started dancing and continued to study art through her college time. She credits her grandmother with encouraging her creativity. Ann spent her childhood studying dancing, acting and singing. Ann, who was then sixteen years old, studied at at the Neighborhood Playhouse (formerly the Musical Theatre Academy) and at the Musical Theatre Academy under some great acting coaches in the city. This were Sandy Meisner & Philip Burton. Ann joined her classmates in a group called a rock group and started singing. The Pajama Game " and West Side Story were among the plays she performed at Berkshire Playhouse, Stockbridge in Massachusetts. Ann was spotted at the Vogue Magazine fashion show by Gloria Schiff, an editor. Within a week editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her first Vogue cover in collaboration with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann was among the United States' most well-known models, appearing on the covers of prestigious magazines, including Vogue Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and numerous others. Ann modeled successfully for cosmetic companies including Max Factor Revlon, Chanel and Europe in Europe following two years.
